(1899-1968) was a Mexican cooking instructor and celebrity chef. She was a pioneer of Mexican gastronomy and an entrepreneur as the owner of Mexico’s most famous eponymous cooking school. Between the 1930’s and 1960’s she published over 140 cookbooks, ran a cooking academy, and hosted TV and radio shows. She is the woman responsible for giving a national face to regional Mexican cuisine.

Pieces of wrappers lacking from lower spine as well as lower left of front wrapper and first couple pages, as well as small upper corner of rear wrapper, otherwise good and bright.
