Some speculate they are the result of the war between the Green Runners and the Triopsid Warlocks, both sides warping apex predators into living weapons. Thankfully they are now rare and remains can be found scattered around the open deserts. The bones of the animals have taken on a strange texture as they age, becoming a curious mix of calcium, chitin, metal and mineral; some parts rusting as it ages and others forming a patina of unknown material. The skulls of these felines are highly prized as armor while the long bones are often used as weaponry. “

This mask can be worn over the face so that you see through the eye holes or raised to sit with the view through the fangs.

As with all of my mask pre-orders there will be a 4-8 week production time. I predict this to start to ship around mid January.

This means the time it takes for me to produce a batch of masks, not when the mask will arrive at your house. I will update about production in the store news. The basics:

– This is for one (1) cast urethane unpainted, unfinished mask with two (2) separately cast fangs. The finished pictures are just an example of what can be done.

– Buyer will need to sand/remove the flash edges, cut open the eye holes and fill/remove any small surface air bubbles and open the nostrils themselves. This is a raw casting and will take work before it can be painted!

– A plastic nipper, a rasp , sandpaper or a dremel can be used to refine edges. Here is a little more detailed info. Buyer should add foam to the inside of the mask to customize the fit. Buyer may need to shape the mask using heat to get it to fit just right ( this is covered in the “shaping” section here )Some craft/paint/kit building knowledge is recommended. I cannot provide build help beyond the info included here and in links provided.

– Please be sure to provide the correct address when placing your order, all orders will be shipped to the address im provided with and cannot be changed after the order is placed. No exceptions, sorry!

– There are no refunds on pre-orders.

– Please do not buy a mask if any of the above is an issue!

Mask info:

– You will receive a BLANK urethane mask. The finished photos are just an example of what the mask can look like when completed.

– This mask can be primed with any spray primer and painted with acrylics , etc. Seal with clear coat to prevent scuffs after painting.

– Elastic straps can be added to the inside of the mask with a bra slide for adjustments. I also recommend gluing soft foam to the inside so that the mask can fit on your face better!

RIGID URETHANE:

– This urethane is sensitive to heat. Please keep it out of direct sunlight as it can warp under it’s own weight when hot. If the mask does not fit you can use a heat gun or heat in the oven at around 175 degrees for a few minutes- (or immerse it in hot water) . Set the shape you want by dipping the warm mask in cold water or leaving on an upturned bowl or object to hold the shape while it cools. You may also need to dremel out the inside surface to make room.

– This is a project that should be attempted by adults or under adult supervision. Please read all safety warnings on materials you use. I am not responsible for any injuries sustained while customizing these masks.

-This mask fits most faces but a perfect fit is not guaranteed. Cannot be worn with glasses.

– Do not use this as safety equipment or a welding mask or anything else but costuming. Use common sense, please. I am not responsible for injuries sustained through improper use of this mask.
