What is Chambray?
A Chambray fabric is a smooth surface dense woven fabric made from cotton (or linen) using a plain over/under weave pattern. This makes it more breathable and lighter than denim fabric (which is made with a twill weave pattern).Chambray fabrics are often substituted for denim for this reason.
